“Manufacturer of new Workstations.”
Compatico Inc. manufactures and supplies new office furniture systems and parts, delivering reliable and cost effective products. Compatico is a compatible system to Herman Miller™ AO1™, AO2™ or Steelcase™ Avenir™ systems. Whether your needs are for entirely new furniture systems, adding to Herman Miller™ AO1™, AO2™ or Steelcase™ Avenir™ systems already in place, or to obtain parts and components for remanufacturing or life-cycle service parts, Compatico, is a smart choice. Compatico's systems are UL listed, meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and are backed by one of the best warranties in the industry.
Compatico was started in the 1980’s by four individuals who, with a long and successful history at Herman Miller, identified a need in the office furniture industry: remanufacturer’s of used Herman Miller™ Action Office™ Systems needed parts to replace lost or damaged ones. Hence, Compatico; for "compatible" parts.
In 1989 Glenn Steil acquired Compatico to enhance his business of distributing Guilford of Maine fabric to furniture refurbishers and remanufacturers as well as to many major furniture manufacturers. At that time, Compatico became the sister company of Steil Inc. until in 1990, he sold Steil Inc to Guilford of Maine. He retained Compatico and expanded its business by introducing compatible parts for other system products as well. By the mid 1990s, Compatico further built its reputation by introducing complete, new office furniture systems to office furniture dealers. Its products were designed to integrate with Herman Miller™ Action Office™ (Series 1™ and Series 2™) and Steelcase™ Avenir™ products.
As the founder of compatible and interchangeable office parts and an early innovator in manufacturing compatible new office systems, Compatico continues to look to the future. In 2004, former Michigan Lt Governor Dick Posthumus joined the company and led many new changes, including the introduction of freestanding desks and new design-oriented systems, expansion of export sales and developing a GSA contract program. In 2006, Posthumus led three other midwest business and community leaders to purchase the company from Steil.

Paoli builds furniture with as many solid wood parts as possible. Chair frames are crafted from select, high-grade hardwoods. End panels on casegoods have lumber cores. Modesty panels on desks feature solid wood base rails. Even the pieces they use to reinforce joints are crafted from wood. They don’t simply surface-mount parts together. They marry them using doweled construction or mortise and tenon techniques that go deep into the wood. Add corner blocks and cleats to reinforce the joints. And bond everything together with mechanical fasteners and superior-strength glue.
Even their Tech-Age finish is special. Created through an exclusive multi-step process, Tech-Age is uniquely formulated to enhance the natural beauty of wood and give lasting protection. This exceptional finish offers high resistance to marring, staining, moisture, and heat. And, it is inherently flame-resistant.
Paoli casegoods and seating meet or exceed rigorous BIFMA performance and safety standards. Their upholstered seating also complies with California Technical Bulletin 117 fire safety standards.
All of which adds up to one simple fact. Paoli furniture delivers lasting beauty and value. There are other ways to build furniture, of course, but it’s not Paoli’s way.

This is enough old office furniture to fill 200 semi truck trailers and would consume a landfill space the size of several football fields.
RSI’s Echo Systems is TOI’s remanufactured workstation option that is not only economical and durable, but environmentally friendly. Echo Systems is modular office furniture using a combination of new parts and recycled content. With new padding, fabric, paint and worktops the end result looks brand new without the cost. The recycled content, which averages about 70% of the total content, consists primarily of parts originally manufactured by Haworth Inc. and fabrics milled from recycled fabrics and plastics. You choose the fabric color for the panels, flipper doors and tack boards as well as the paint color of the panel trim. New work services, pedestals, laterals files and task lights are added to your specifications. Best of all, it comes standard with a lifetime warranty.

Screenflex manufactures a variety of different room dividers, portable walls and display tower models to suit your needs. Screenflex was founded in 1988 by Paul, John and Richard Maas. Previous to this, and dating back to 1965, their architectural firm had numerous churches, schools, corporations and restaurants as clients. Working with these clients, the partners realized that regardless of the client's size or budget, they all had one common goal; achieve the best and most flexible use of their valuable floor space. To help their clients attain this goal, several lines of unique portable room dividers were designed and patented. A new concept in providing truly versatile use of floor space was born.
Screenflex’s most popular line is the Freestanding Room Divider and is available in 6 heights, 6 lengths and 32 fabric/vinyl colors. Each Freestanding Divider is equipped with a steel end member and self leveling casters. These features make the Accordion Wall easy to move anywhere within the building.
The Screenflex Wallmount Room Divider line likewise is available in 6 heights, 6 lengths and 32 fabric/vinyl colors. As its name implies, one end of this Room Divider is mounted to a wall while the rest of the Room Divider can be easily moved within the room as it unfolds like an accordion wall. Screenflex Heavy Duty Room Divider is available in 2 heights, 6 lengths and 32 colors. It is truly "The World’s Toughest Room Divider". The Heavy Duty line easily handles rougher conditions found in the Hospitality industry.
If you need the convenience of a portable cabinet combined with accoustical dividers, the Portable Classroom line is a great choice.
